With only 509 units build, a Jensen Interceptor Convertible is a rare sight. This Jensen from 1974, was delivered new in California. In 1997 the Jensen was imported from its warm California climate to the Netherlands. The Jensen with Vin number 2310-9636 is a matching number car. The original owner’s manual, convertible manual (supplement), service books and the last US title.
In the period 2012-2013 the Jensen underwent a complete bare metal respray.(pictures are available) Because of its warm California climate there wasn’t much rust. The chrome parts were re-chromed, and all the stainless parts where professional polished. The suspension, brakes, radiator etc. has been rebuild ore bought new. The interior is still original, only the foam in the seats has been renewed. The Jensen has Dutch papers.
Its 7.2 litre Chrysler engine together with the automatic gearbox makes this Jensen a pleasure to drive, and ready for the summer.
